The journey began with a simple mission: helping middle and high school students develop stronger professional networks. But what started as an educational initiative quickly revealed a much larger problem.
After spending 43 days building a comprehensive desktop application, learning SQL databases and JSON along the way, there was a moment of brutal honesty. Despite the technical achievement, something felt fundamentally wrong.
Like many founders, there was uncertainty about being "out of touch with the times." The technology was solid, the features were comprehensive, but the nagging question persisted.
BUT ENOUGH WAS ENOUGH.
"Who carries a desktop, laptop, notebook around with them and uses it as a form of communication?"
So after 43 days of writing the app, I scrapped it for a different platform and that's how we landed on the mobile device.
This time I formed the plan. I wrote the output products, the interface for the output products that I wanted. The interface for the solution. I knew where I wanted to go and I started building it with the end in mind.
The result is Opportunity 24/7 AI - born from learning what doesn't work, built for how career communication actually happens.
